Cortese Interview Empty
PostSubject: Cortese Interview   Cortese Interview EmptyThu Aug 20, 2009 1:28 pm

Cortese revealed in his latest interview, that he and Pardew have a good working relationship, and exchange texts frequently from 6am onwards each day.

He praised Pardew for appreciating the business side of running Southampton FC, rather than just being emotional about the footballing needs.

He emphasised that the team rebuilding would be based around players they think would do a good job in League One AND The Championship.

It’s not a secret we have one or two positions we would like to strengthen.
The plan is to have approximately two to three players before the window closes.

Harding, Murty, Lambert, Hammond, Trotman, and more to come.

Slowly but surely, Cortese will take us back to the promised land, and in a considerably healthier financial state.

Transfer strategy revealed, also.
Looking for players that can do a job in League One and also contribute at Championship level too.

Feel reassured whenever he talks.
