Summer of '83

It was a busy time during the summer months, preparing for the new season, after a mid-table finish.
Lawrie McMenenmy had a real shake up. Eleven players were shown the exit door.
Dennis Wise arrived ( as an apprentice ), Ken Armstrong was bought to replace Chris Nicholl, and Frank Worthington was brought in to spearhead the Saints attack.

The same thing crossed my mind too, Le God.
