Nothing shocking about it, I suppose.

Let's hope AP brings in another top striker. We can't start the season with Lambert and an unmotivated Saganowski - or Lambert and a not quite ready, Paterson.
If we lost Lambert for a few games, we really wouldn't carry much threat up front.

Hopefully a replacement will be signed before for the Stockport game.

Saints have expected his departure for quite some time, and I will be amazed ( and disappointed ) if they haven't already lined up a replacement.

It would be ridiculous to bid the market farewell, and settle for Lambert and Paterson or Saga.
Saga isn't overly excited about being a Saint, and Paterson simply isn't ready for the full-time gig yet.

And what if we lost Lambert for a few games, as you rightly point out, Le God?

A PROVEN replacement is a must in my opinion. Anything else would be negligent.
